Beans!!
We planted bean plants and last week some of our bean plants sprouted. We are recording our observations in our bean plant diaries each week.
What are shapes used for?
We went for a walk around the school to look at how shapes are used in our environment. We found many uses for shapes and are going to make a book about our findings.

Sunflower Art- Inspired by Van Gogh
We have been painting sunflowers just like the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. First, we sketched our sunflower. Then, we painted our sunflowers yellow and painted the background with a pastel colour. Finally, we painted a fine outline with black paint. We look forward to displaying them when they are all finished.
Shape hunt
On Friday the 31st, we went on a shape hunt around our classroom and recorded the number of shapes we found with tally marks.
